       On December 23, the new central enterprise China Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd. was formally established.

       China Rare Earth Group is a company led by China Aluminum Group Co., Ltd., China Minmetals Group Co., Ltd. and Ganzhou Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd. Technology Group Co., Ltd., Youyan Technology Group Co., Ltd. and other two rare earth technology research and development enterprises, a large rare earth enterprise group established in accordance with the principles of marketization and the rule of law.

       It is reported that the formed China Rare Earth Group is a central enterprise with diversified equity directly supervised by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. China Minmetals Co., Ltd. and Ganzhou Rare Earth Group Co., Ltd. each hold 20.33%, and China Steel Research Technology Group Co., Ltd. and Youyan Technology Group Co., Ltd. each hold 3.90%.
